Summary:

The Operations Support Specialist has excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, is self-motivated and collaborative. Individual is responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of the products and services offered by AAIM and educates members on the best practices and business value of these solutions

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains a deep understanding of the products and services offered by AAIM and educates members on the best practices and business value of these solutions
  • Participates and/or oversees special projects from initiation through completion and resolves various issues as they arise
  • Provides logistical support such as scheduling, leading, and scribing planning meetings, coordinating with vendors
  • Coordinates and participates in the preparation of reports and presentations needed for various meetings and events
  • Provides feedback from members to enable continuous improvement of the products/services
  • Develop and implement appropriate operational procedures to meet timely and high-quality deliverables
  • Conducts reference checks, education and employment verifications
  • Utilizes background system for member orders, results, and updates member data
  • Maintains and demonstrates compliance with all sections of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, State Consumer Reporting Law Compliance, and all applicable Drivers Privacy Protection Act compliance and the federal and state level
  • Provides excellent customer service through timely and professional response to customer questions
  • All other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand as much advanced notice will be given where possible.

Travel: This position does not require travel.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred bonus if experience is in an HR related field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Requires a high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and accuracy in dealing with confidential information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate at multiple levels within an organization
  • Strong planning, organization, prioritization, multi-tasking, and facilitation skills
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve business and basic technical problems
  • Customer service focused and ability to build rapport with people of diverse backgrounds
