Summary: As an Email Marketing Automation Specialist for AAIM Employers' Association, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and executing highly effective email marketing campaigns to enhance member engagement. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a comprehensive email strategy that leverages automation, content creation, and data-driven insights to drive increased member participation, sales, retention, and loyalty. This role requires a deep understanding of email marketing best practices, proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as Pardot and Salesforce, and a keen ability to analyze campaign performance and make real-time adjustments.

Essential Functions

Strategy Development: Create and implement a robust email marketing strategy aimed at maximizing member engagement, leveraging segmentation, personalization, and automation techniques to deliver relevant content to each segment of AAIM's membership.

Content Creation: Develop compelling, relevant, and high-quality email content that resonates with AAIM members, effectively communicating the value of the association's offerings, events, resources, and updates.

Automation Implementation: Utilize Pardot and Salesforce to build automated email workflows that streamline member communications, optimize the member journey, and nurture leads through the sales funnel

Campaign Measurement: Monitor the performance of email campaigns, analyzing key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and member engagement. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to stakeholders

Campaign Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize email campaigns based on data-driven insights, A/B testing, and industry best practices. Implement adjustments to improve campaign effectiveness and member responsiveness. Frequently problem solve independently

Sales, Retention, and Loyalty: Design and execute targeted email campaigns to drive sales, improve member retention, and foster loyalty, ensuring AAIM members are engaged, informed, and enthusiastic about their membership

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other sales, marketing, and communication teams to ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and alignment of email campaigns with broader marketing initiatives

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time exempt position. To meet the needs of the business, the email marketing automation specialist role requires and offers some flexibility. Regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proven experience in email marketing and marketing automation best practices, with a focus on engagement and conversion

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Proficiency in Pardot and Salesforce
  • Knowledge of HR related services and industry
