Marketing Project Manager
We are looking for a reliable self-starter with great communication skills and an obsession for detail to collaboratively develop, prioritize and execute our marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will oversee and document all aspects of projects and special events to make sure all are completed on time and with scope/budget, while facilitating the flow of communications and assets among internal and external teams.
Day to day tasks will include planning, brainstorming, problem solving, following up with key vendors, setting priorities, logistics, data collection and analysis, printing stuff and wading through way too many emails. We're a small, nimble team that uses creativity to do a lot with a little. And, we do it with style, a unique voice, and a healthy obsession.
We need a creative, multi-tasker that can simultaneously dream big and remain focused. The Marketing Project Manager partners with the Marketing Automation Specialist and reports to the VP of Marketing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing strategies with consideration to increased sales, ROI, brand identity and company values
- Accountable to campaigns and strategy for multiple business units by planning, creating, managing, and executing annual marketing plans
- Conduct meetings to communicate to stakeholders
- Understand brand voice and how to best articulate the brand utilizing marketing channels
- Create and maintain a marketing dashboard to track metrics against objectives
- Create, edit and manage print collateral
- Responsible for determining timelines and tracking budgets
- Drive events by coordinating and overseeing all the logistical details of all small and large scale events from beginning to end, both off and onsite, such as industry events, yearly leadership conferences, social and training events, and roundtable sessions
- Play active role during events by directing staff, confirming all the details, being engaged with participants, troubleshooting any unexpected concerns, answering questions, etc.
- Responsible for marketing and sales strategic approach for all events by identifying event opportunities, generating interest, creating advertisements, tracking performance, and determining areas of improvement for future events the purpose and outcomes
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, individuals and organizations by utilizing strong interpersonal skills and providing excellent customer service to ensure the best client experience
Skills Required
Experience: 3-5 years in a marketing role
Degree: Bachelor's Degree
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines and budgets
Requires a high level for attention to detail
