Product Manager - Talent Acquisition Systems

Summary:

The Product Manager of Talent Acquisition Systems, under the guidance of the Vice President, is responsible for the continuous development, implementation, and integration of the talent technologies AAIMTrack and AAIMCheck, an applicant tracking system and background verification service, offered by AAIM.  It requires being a subject matter expert who can present and speak to the features and benefits of these systems with members, monitor key market trends and identify new product opportunities to expand AAIM's product line offering, analyze product performance and implement product modifications and enhancements, focus on the sales of these products, and differentiate AAIM in the sales process and management of products so the members view AAIM as a trusted advisor.

Essential Functions:

Leads the continuous development and management of AAIM's talent management systems

  • Knowledgeable on current industry products, trends, technology, compliance regulations, and operational requirements to develop new products and services
  • Creates budget and timelines, leads product development, and develops technology that works together under a single integrated solution
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the process of managing the product life cycle
  • Oversees the product life cycle and resolves any product quality concerns
  • Develops tracking tools for reporting capabilities by utilizing metrics to support and measure results that will better inform the effectiveness of the products to members
  • Continues to develop services that position AAIMCheck to be a leading provider in the industry

Develops and maintains sales process for AAIM's talent management systems

  • Prepares Request for Proposal (RFP) responses
  • Determines product pricing based on market research and analysis
  • Works with sales team to create sales strategies to market new products
  • Communicates current and new product offerings to customers in an engaging way to create interest and customer satisfaction
  • Attend client meetings when needed (onsite or via phone)

Works in collaboration with the marketing team

  • Assist with yearly marketing campaign and develops and implements new marketing strategies
  • Develops and deploys webinars/webcast for services
  • Develops and maintains content for services

Manages Association Partnerships

  • Create and maintain Association Contracts
  • White labeling client documents
  • Host Quarterly Meetings to ensure service quality and continuous improvement
  • System Management

Works in collaboration with the Prehire Services Supervisor

  • Create annual budget for services
  • Analyze and manage cost
  • Daily tracking of volume, revenue and turn around time
  • Weekly tracking of forecast
  • Monthly tracking of turn around time, new clients, and budget for services

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel: This position requires 10-20% travel outside of the St. Louis Metro region. Most travel will be to Central Illinois and surrounding areas.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Skills Required:

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Understanding of instructional design
  • Versed in needs analysis, delivery/facilitation and evaluation
  • Thorough knowledge of training philosophies, accelerate learning, and adult learning methods
  • Must be tech savvy and proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in multi-media and Distance Learning.
